oh, please.

I get irritated when people are rude. Especially if they are rude to my husband.

A recent facebook comment was posted by my husband without the -T at the end, which caused some confusion as to who wrote it. (I told you, we've got the join-account thing goin on. Suck it.)

Thinking he is entitled to be a teenager, some stranger decided to say "I hate the duel account. Be an individual and stop screwing up our contact lists. If you can't trust your husband or wife to not talk to old high school flings you probably shouldn't have the internet."

The first few things that came to my mind were all swear words and murder scenes. But, I decided to do the mature thing and blog about it. (ha)

Dear Mr. Stranger,

Be an adult and stay out of my facebook life. Screw you. We are not "screwing up" your contact list, because you are not our friend on facebook. It is because of pricks like you that we have a joint account. We only add people who we are actually friends with, you know… the kind of people who get over the fact that high school flings were in high school and not everyone is stuck in the past. I accept maybe 1 out of every 10 requests we get. It's cleaner, it's more simplistic, and it is what we wanted to do. If you don't like it, that's fine. Don't assume we have marital problems or trust issues. Seeing as you are ten years older than me, I find it annoying that you feel the need to call us out on that. You can go stalk your old high school flings and hope your wife doesn't call you out on it. In the meantime, my husband and I will enjoy our clean news feed of updates only from people we truly care about.

You're lucky I don't steal murder ideas from The Following.

P.S. The first comment posted on facebook was from both of us simultaneously. Jokes on you, A-hole.
